Classification of plastics extruders

The main machine of plastic extruder is extruder, which is composed of extrusion system, transmission system and heating and cooling system.


1. Extrusion system the extrusion system consists of screw, barrel, hopper, die, and die. The plastic is plasticized into a uniform melt through the extrusion system, and is continuously extruded by the screw under the pressure established in the process.


(1) Screw: is the main part of the extruder, it is directly related to the scope of application and productivity of the extruder, made of high-strength corrosion-resistant alloy steel.


(2) Cylinder: it is a metal cylinder, which is generally made of alloy steel with high heat resistance, high pressure resistance, strong wear resistance and corrosion resistance or composite steel pipe lined with alloy steel. The barrel and screw cooperate to realize crushing, softening, melting, plasticizing, exhausting and compacting of plastics, and continuously and evenly conveying rubber to the molding system. Generally, the length of the barrel is 15-30 times of its diameter, so that the plastic can be fully heated and plasticized.
